Sun flower (Helianthus annuus L.) is one of the important oil seed crops and potentially fit in agricultural system and oil production sector of India. Various diseases, insects and nematodes attack damage the sunflower crop, results a wide range of loss in production. This is possible through naked eye observation but this method highly failed when one has to monitor the large farms. Here we present Diseases Detection system for segmentation and classification of Sunflower leaf diseases.
AKTU organized Dr Kalam Startup Parikrama Edition 9 pitching competition held on 4th april at IPEC Ghaziabad. More than 200 teams were registered to show their project in this competition. But only 11 groups were selected to pitch their idea in the competition. Our student team ( Aman tiwari, Amrendra Pratap singh, Mardul mishra, Ravi Pratap singh) was selected.

Jain and Prof. Sulekha Saxena has participated in ANVESHNA - 2018, A National Level, Science and Engineering Fair organized by “AAGASTYA INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION” (Govt. of India) at National Science Centre, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi (14 to 16-Feb 2018) and has secured 4th Rank with Rs.15,000 cash prize in the presence of the Chief Guest Mr. Manish Sisodia (Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi).

This project is a cost effective and efficient robotic system, programmed to provide a platform for surveillance purpose. This robot has a multi-sensory system, cameras, actuators, and bodies with artificial skin for physical interaction with human beings. It can keep our eyes in targeted area and to locate the enemy. It can climb stairs as well as it can be used to kill or unconscious the enemies. It is capable of carrying out complex missions in unknown, forbidden, hostile, or dangerous zones and other various applications that to at a safer distance.

IMSEC family congratulate Mr. Vishal Sharma, students of CS 2nd year to won the first prize at AIRC’17: ALL INDIA ROBOTICS CHALLENGE 2017 organized by Techienest in association with N-VISION IIT HYDERABAD. First he participated in the zonal round which was held in Jaipur and there he got 1st position in the zonal round. He the participated in the final round held at IIT HYDERABAD where the task was to make an autonomous robot on the theme of "ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE". He won the first prize. He received a winning trophy, participation certificate, winning certificate, T-shirt, training coupons worth Rs. 50,000/- , cheque of Rs. 10,000/- and offer for internship.

The main objective of this research is to develop a prototype system for detection of sunflower leaf diseases using image segmentation and soft computing techniques.
