Brief Profile:

This is Priya Ranjan Kumar. Currently working as assistant professor at IMS Engineering College, Ghaziabad. I have a blend of expertise in the area of Biotechnology and Computer Science. I have conducted many core computational courses like C Programming, Data structures and Algorithms with C, Cyber Security etc. along with Biotechnology subjects like Bioprocess Engineering, Bioinformatics etc. I also have experience in working on NBA-Self Assessment Report preparation for the Biotechnology Department at IMSEC. I have done M.Tech in Bioinformatics from IIIT, Hyderabad and currently pursuing Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, UP. I have also worked on a live project funded by DBT, Govt. of India, aiming to develop "Metabolomics LIMS" under the project entitled "Computational Core for Plant Metabolomics" at IIIT, Hyderabad in collaboration with JNU, New Delhi.

"1. Identification of dormant Peptides/Proteins from non-coding regions of selected bacterial genome. 2. Identification of small RNAs and their human genomic targets from non-coding regions of selected bacterial genome 3. Development of a prediction model for quantitative structure activity relationship of potential lead compounds of some nuclear receptors 4.
