It is my privilege to extend a warm welcome to all aspiring engineers joining the B.Tech First Year program. The Department of Applied Science & Humanities plays a vital role in laying a strong academic foundation by imparting essential knowledge in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Communication Skills, and other interdisciplinary subjects that form the cornerstone of engineering education.

With my teaching experience of around 30 years, it is my inner feeling that the first year of engineering is a transformative phase that shapes the academic and professional journey of every student.
