IMS Engineering College is NAAC accredited and its Information Technology Department is NBA accredited.
IMSEC is ranked 4th in Uttar Pradesh among all private engineering colleges (CSR-GHRDC-2021) and 5th in north zone (Times of India Ranking survey-2021)

IMSEC is having a team of highly qualified faculty members having rich experience of industry, academia, and research. The dedicated team of faculty members work hard to enrich the knowledge of students.
The research & publication polity of IMSEC strongly engage both faculty and students towards research which leads to the publication of a significant number of scientific articles in national/international journals.
College provides various platforms and opportunities to the students for developing and showcasing their technical skills and leadership personality by organizing technical & soft skill classes on regular basis. In addition to that summer training, workshops, national/international conferences, seminars are also organised on a regular basis.
In IMSEC, students get numerous opportunity to get placement in National & Multinational companies. Through the dedicated CDC (Career Development Centre) of IMSEC, students get several placement opportunities during the final year of their course. The average placement percentage in the last three years is about 90%.
