Dr. Abdul Kalam Sports Fest is a three days event in which various colleges of Ghaziabad district, affiliated to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University Lucknow, will participate in various events. The events scheduled this year are Athletics (100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 4*100m relay, long jump, high jump, discus throw, shot-put & javelin), Badminton, Basketball, Chess, Football, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Table Tennis, Volleyball. Sports help in the development of mental health and physical fitness of an individual. Games improve various skills, infuse team spirit, sportsmanship & confidence that are helpful for all round developent of students.
All the events will be conducted by IMS Engineering College (IMSEC) as per schedule and winners of each event will be eligible to participate in state level sports fest.
