Brief Profile:

  • My Latest Research
  • Psychosis and Sophistication in Doris Lessing’s Ben in the World
  • This research concentrates on the psychology of the Janus-faced people of modern society and especially of Ben (the protagonist of Ben in the World by Doris May Lessing, the Nobel Laureate in 2007) who is abnormal by birth and needs mental support from the family, friends and all other responsible people of society but he is deluded and misguided by most of all. This paper tries to check the psychology of Ben based on Sigmund Freud’s theory in which Freud confers that the personality of a person is the outcome of his/her unconscious thoughts and unconsciousness is decided by the upbringing of parents and the behaviour of the friends and colleagues.
  • Ben, in his oral stage, though his physic competence was different from the common child of that age, could not get the proper attention of the parents and his siblings. That’s why he could not overcome this stage properly. At this age total pleasure is felt through the mouth of the child and if the child fails to get proper and balanced treatment in this stage, he/she may be victim of any addiction. Improper accomplishment of anal stage leads the child to extreme consciousness or unconsciousness for sanitation. Ben’s filthiness and stinky body is the result of improper upbringing in anal stage. In the same way his phallic, latency and genital stages were not consummated properly. Thus his total abnormal personality is the consequence of his ill treated nourishment. Thus the study throws a light on the importance of unconsciousness of mind, its effects on one’s behavior and the role of milieu and upbringing of a child to develop his/her personality. This research may help the parents to realize their responsibility to train, guide and nurture their offspring in a proper way.
  • About me
  • Limitation is just Imagination as the sky is not the limit so we should never bother for imaginative fears.”
  • Research Interests
  • Psychoanalytic Approach in Novels
  • Psychoanalytic approach deals with one’s behaviour, which is based on the concept that one gets motivated more by unseen forces that are controlled by the conscious and the coherent thought. According to Sigmund Freud, the human behavior is formed through an interaction between three components of the mind, i.e. Id, Ego and Super Ego.
  • Basics of Communication
  • Communication is the need of the hour for everyone in every profession. Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing and Thinking skills are the basics that establish and improve the communication and it is the communication that decides one’s personality and helps to achieve desired destination.
  • Vocabulary Enrichment and Grammar Enhancement Approaches
  • To be eloquent and good communicator refined vocabulary and enhanced grammar is must. Polished vocabulary and appropriate grammar are the symbols of unique and sophisticated language. If the vocabulary is the pillar, grammar is the structure on which the building of communication can be raised.
