Brief Profile:

Dr. Subhajit Ghosh is currently a Professor in CSE department in IMS Engineering College. Prior to this, he has worked at Chandigarh University, Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (Deemed to be University), Galgotias University & ITS Engineering College. He has also worked for four years as a Professor at Lingayas University, & as an Assistant Professor at Durgapur Institute of Advanced Technology & Management. He did his B. Tech (1989) & M. Tech (1991) in Computer Science from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. He has worked in the North Eastern Hill University, a central University for a period of 14 years where he combined teaching with system administration. Simultaneously he taught computer subjects at post-graduate level for over a decade at IGNOU. He has served as a DOEACC Computer Expert for a while. 

Research interests are in data mining, soft computing & optimization with 29 publications, authored about a dozen popular IT related articles. In the last few years, he has taught subjects like Natural Language Processing, Intelligent Systems, Soft Computing, Data Warehousing and Data Mining, Pattern Recognition, Neural Networks, E Commerce and ERP, Adv. DBMS, Distributed DBMS, Operating Systems, Operation Research, Software Engineering, & Analysis and Design of Algorithms and others.
