A brilliant inauguration of "Technovation-2019" took place at IMS Engineering College, Ghaziabad. The main goal of the two-day Technical Fest is to provide a platform to enhance the creative, inventive and technical skills of emerging engineering students. In "Technovation-2019", students of various departments of IMS Engineering College displayed more than 90 live projects.
These projects based on new technology are related to the solution of problems related to army, defense research, environment, agriculture, education, public life and its security, medicine and health. 26 projects were presented by the Department of Computer Science and IT, of which the "Eagle Eye Detection System" impressed the audience. The project is equipped with state-of-the-art technology such as live video surveillance, GPS, face recognition along with providing vision (vision) to the drone. In addition, "Intelligent Companion" "Coin Counting and Teller Machine", "Bionic Blink to the Future," "3D Printer" introduced the audience to future technology.
The Technical fest was inaugurated by Chief Guest Mr. V.K. Jaiswal, Executive Director, Ram Piston and Mr. Vinod Sharma, Managing Director, Deki Electronics. On this occasion, they congratulated the participants for new and innovative projects and IMS for such program. In his address, Mr. V.K. Jaiswal urged the students to create practical and inexpensive innovative projects that would help in raising the standard of living of the general public. More than 500 students of various schools of Ghaziabad like G.D. Goenka, DPS HIRT, DAV Public School, Sanvalli, Ingram School, Uttam Girls School, DPS International Dasna, Ryan International, KDB Public School, DDPS Sanjay Nagar, MIT Meerut etc. have visited IMS Engineering College to be part of this mega technical event. The Technical fest will conclude tomorrow. The guest of the ceremony will be Mr. Kunal Kishore, Head, Automation, British Telecom and Mr. Arun Gupta, CEO, MoMagic Pvt. Ltd., who will award the selected projects from various departments.
