Celebration of Teachers’ Day: 5th September Onwards
“The Celebration” – Cultural program by students for faculty and staff
The “Teachers’ Day” was celebrated in IMS Engineering College at 3:00pm in C Block Auditorium. Several students from B.Tech. branches like BT, CSE, EC, and IT participated to give thanks to all the teachers on this occasion. Dr. Vikram Bali, Director of IMS Engineering College motivated the faculty members to keep improving themselves not only in terms of technical knowledge but also holistically to support students in their comprehensive development. The students were very excited to perform activities like dance, songs, speech, and skits. Harshit Sharma of 3rd year BT anchored the event. Dr. S.N.Rajan, Dean of Academics gave the vote of thanks to the cultural committee for organizing the event and to the students for their energetic performances. Faculty and staff members enjoyed every performance especially the self-composed poetry by Dr. Arvind Kumar of the AS&H Department who melodiously highlighted the talent of some teachers. The program ended with a vote of thanks followed by high tea.
