Brief Profile:

Dr Siby James has been an educator for nearly two decades. Prior to joining the IMS Engineering College, Ghaziabad in 2023, he taught at Mangalam Engineering College, Kerala, St.Berchman’s College, Kerala and Holy Cross College, Kerala. He earned his MBA degree from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam with a second rank and his Doctorate degree from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. His focus area of research has been Consumer behavior and Retail Marketing, and he has several research publications to his credit. He is a UGC qualified teacher and has participated in several conferences, workshops and symposia, and has presented and published papers and research articles.He has attended several FDP programmes of IIMs, XIME and AICTE-ATAL academy. He successfully completed EdX and NPTEL certifications from IIT, IIMB, Harvard University, and University of Michigan, USA. Over the years, he has served the college in diverse roles such as the department coordinator of NAAC Accreditation, Academic Council member, Coordinator of Management Fests, Exam Controller and Training and Placement Cell head. He is a member of Kerala Management Association (KMA) and CII Kerala Chapter. Dr Siby James is a visiting faculty to a number of prestigious institutions and is having several consultancy programmes in his credit. Some other coveted roles he held include Member, Board of Examiners, External Observer, Expert Committee member and Chief examiner of Examinations. A mentor to many, he makes a positive impact on the lives of his students, colleagues and friends. Winner of several awards for excellence in teaching, he aims to scale new heights in his career.
