Electronics and Communication plays a vital role ensuring fastest means of communication across the world. Besides the technology it provides unique advantage for various activities in trade, banking, tour and travel, health, etc to ensure higher productivity. The department has established Electronics lab, Communication Lab, PCB & Electronic workshop, Analog Integrated Circuit lab, Digital integrated Circuit lab, Power Electronics Lab, CAD Lab and Microwave and Optical Communication Lab, Microprocessor lab, DSP lab. All labs are well equipped with all modern electronics testing, measuring instruments and software as per the course requirement.

The major employers in this branch of Engineering are BEL, CEL, ECIL, TCIL, BHEL, BSNL, VSNL,etc… in Public sector and Tata Infocom, Reliance Mobile, Hutch, Airtel etc… in Private sector. In addition to these, there are several software-based companies like WIPRO, HCL TECHNOLOGIES, INFOSYS, SATYAM, TCS also give employment to our students.

The department also has collaboration with several Internationally known industries alike Pixtel, where students undergo training and work on real-time projects.
