Today's competitive challenges cannot be overcome with academic excellence alone. With this in view, IMS Engineering College (IMSEC) focuses on a holistic development of the students. This is achieved through numerous ventures like Research and Development, Research publications, Innovation & Entrepreneurial Activities, Sports & Cultural activities, in addition to academic programs.
To strengthen our commitment for improving quality of education and to keep our students and faculty abreast with the latest technological advancements through close interaction with industry, the college has collaborated with various eminent multinational industries to establish Centres of Excellence in various domains. These centres not only provide industry relevant training to students but also promote applied research and industrial consultancy. IMSEC has the following centre of excellence:
IMSEC publishes the bi-annual International Journal VIVECHAN to provide a forum for publishing new findings on engineering and technology. The journal publishes blind peer reviewed research papers related to engineering streams and allied disciplines. The journal is available for the readers online as well as in print. The journal has eminent professors, researchers and corporate executives on its honorary editorial board. Additionally, in harmony with the College ideology of research orientation of faculty and students, each department publishes its own departmental e-Magazine contributed by faculty and students containing project description, research articles and other relevant information. The departmental e-Magazine is managed by the departmental editorial boards under the able guidance of the Heads of Departments.
In order to create an eco system of innovation & entrepreneurship at IMSEC, college has established Technology Business Incubation Park(TBIP) which not only facilitate students in establishing their own venture but also frequently organizes Seminars, workshops and interactive sessions to make the students be the best professionals and entrepreneurs in their fields of interest and to start their own enterprises. The Center is for ambitious for youth and technocrats to learn the process and system to build a real startup and emerge as successful Business Person. Its objective is to encourage entrepreneurs, innovate and develop business in emerging technologies and be part of the Make in India and startup India Policy.
