Mr. Satyam Pratap, Ms Roli Singh, Ms Haritima Chaturvedi, Mr. Shubham Chaudhary & Mr. Gaurav Singh students of final year (Electrical & Electronics Engineering) showcased their prototype model MARS ROVER at Edinburgh University, United Kingdom during 10-17 February 2019. This Program was organised under United Kingdom Centre of Astrobiology (University of Edinburgh) & Kalam Centre (UKCA-KC) Mars Mission India.
In a step towards International Exposure to students in the field of research, IMS Engineering College collaborated with University of Louisville, KY, USA.
Three students of IMS Engineering College Shakshi Upadhyay (ECE), Manisha Luthra(BT) and Reedam Chaudhary (CSE) of B-Tech 3rd year completed their Research Internship in University of Louisville, KY,USA during (June-July 2018)
Earlier six (B.Tech. 3rd year) students Rajat Garg (CSE), Pranav Singh (ME), Siddharth Wadhwani (ECE), Praveen Dutt Pathak (EN). Priya Sharma (ECE) and Shamaila Jaffery (ECE) also visited the University for two months Internship (June-July 2017).
During Internship students worked on projects in the frontier areas of Advanced Energy Material Manufacturing Solar Energy Conversion, Renewable Energy Storage, Biofules/Biomass, Energy Efficiency & Conservation and Materials Characterization
Project titled "Post-Harvest Crop Management System Using IOT and AI" made by B.Tech students Chakshu Sharma, CS-IV year; Ms. Astha Singh, CS-III year; Ms. Deepali Srivastava, CS-III year and Ms. Medha Gupta, CS-III year emerged winner of Smart Odisha-2018 Hackathon held at Bhubaneswar in November, 2018.
Students won overall 1st Prize and got Rs.1.25 Lakh cash prize along with participation certificate, winning trophy and Memento and they received award from Hon'ble Chief Minister of Odisha, Shri Naveen Patnaik.
A project titled "Automatic Refilling of Refrigerator's Water Bottles" of IMS Engineering College, Ghaziabad has secured 4th rank in India at Anveshana-2018, National Science and Engineering Fair, organised by Agastya International Foundation in Association with Government of Delhi.
The project conceptualised by students of Mechanical Engineering Department Pranav Singh and Vaibhav Saini was awarded with a cash prize. Mr Manish Shishodia, Deputy Chief Minister, Delhi appreciated and encouraged the students.
