Applied Sciences & Humanities Department successfully organizes a 21 day Orientation Programme every year to welcome the first year B. Tech. students. The main motive of the programme is to make them familiar to the system, facilities ,personnel and their smooth transition from one system to another.

The event is graced by eminent educationists, corporate leaders, public personality and spiritual leaders to boost the students academically, professionally and mentally. The students are well familiarized with faculty members, diverse departments, various laboratories and college premises. In this programme Creative Arts including different type of activities, proficiency modules and games are conducted effectively.
