Session on Cultivating Curiosity: Exploring Biotech Careers through Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Dr. Ajay Kumar Sharma, Head of the Biotechnology Department at IMS Engineering College, conducted an enlightening session on "Cultivating Curiosity: Exploring Biotech Careers through Innovation and Entrepreneurship" at Greenfield Public School, Govindpuram, Ghaziabad, on 19.01.2024. The engaging discussion comprehensively addressed IMSEC's Biotechnology Department, encapsulating achievements, activities and notable alumni. Emphasis was placed on the expansive scope of Biotechnology, future advancements in medicines and various exciting opportunities within the field. The workshop also delved into higher studies in India and abroad, along with available scholarships. Practical experiments included blood group determination and its applications, DNA isolation and a demonstration of the ELISA strip principle. The event catered to Class XI & XII Biology students, fostering a dynamic learning environment.
