The Department of Biotechnology organised an event "Recycling waste bottles” as a part of green Initiative on June 10, 2023 under the leadership of Dr. Shomini Parashar

The event was conducted in the Biotechnology department and the students of all branches actively participated. They prepareduseful objects, pots from waste bottles in the Biotechnology labs which was in accordance with the title - Green Initiative. The objective of the event was to realize the abundance of waste bottles in our surroundings and to find the optimal solutions of the current plastic problem and finally inculcate the feeling of association with the environment to make it a better place to live. This initiative spread the awareness about the degrading environment and the climatic conditions of the earth.
Faiza Nasir and Jahnavi Patel got the first prize, Modeep Parashar and Neelam Sharma got the second prize and Aditya Raghav got the third prize.
