Technical Poster Competition
Muhammad Ahmad, Abhinav Biswas, Aman Singh and Mirza Suhaib Beg, second year Mechanical engineering students of IMS Engineering College, Ghaziabad under the guidance of Prof. Amit Pandey participated in technical poster competition organised by SAE India at KIET Ghaziabad on 1st November 2018. The project title was Hybrid Bicycle. Project won first prize along with cash prize.

Omkar Seth, final year student in Mechanical Engineering of IMS Engineering College, Ghaziabad got 3rd position in the event Technical Paper Presentation (InnoTech 2k18) at KIET group of institutions in association with CII and SAEINDIA on 1st Nov 2018. His topic of presentation was Dehumidified Cooler.

Automatic Dish Washer of Mechanical Engineering Department of IMS Engineering College, Ghaziabad got 2nd prize in CROSSROADS 2018 (Techfest) at HITECH Engineering College, Ghaziabad. CII-Majestic Skill-Will-Lead Program on 4th Oct 18
Team of IMSEC (ME dept) participated in CII-Majestic Skill-Will-Lead Program on 4th Oct 18 at IMSEC, Ghaziabad. Under the guidance of Prof. V.K. Saini and Mr. A.S. Parmar, team IMSEC won the First prize in this program and received an award of Rs 25000/-. The team members are as follows: Mr Vinod Sharma, Managing Director, Deki Electronics Limited was the Chief Guest. Mr Mahesh Munjal, Managing Director of Majestic Auto Ltd was the convener of the program. Other guests Mr Aayush Munjal, Executive Director of Majestic Auto Ltd, Mr. N.K. Jalan, Advisor to Avenir Management Services Pvt Ltd, Mr. DurjayPuri, President and CEO of GRAS Education and Training were were judges of the program.
Confederation of Indian Industry provides a very conducive platform for industry as well as Institutions to deliberate and work on prevalent issues. Skills today, has become a very talked about subject in both industry and the academia circles. The industry is grappling with skilled manpower shortage and academia is struggling with inability to get relevant placements for their students due to skill gap.
With this brief background CII is organizing a program with the theme "Skill Will Lead". The idea of this program is to provide exposure to the students and make them ready with pertinent knowledge and skills required to get started with the industry. Students from various colleges across Western UP participated and will given presentation on the topic given by the Skills and Industry Academia Partnership Panel.

This project is a cost effective and efficient robotic system, programmed to provide a platform for surveillance purpose. This robot has a multi-sensory system, cameras, actuators, and bodies with artificial skin for physical interaction with human beings. It can keep our eyes in targeted area and to locate the enemy. It can climb stairs as well as it can be used to kill or unconscious the enemies. It is capable of carrying out complex missions in unknown, forbidden, hostile, or dangerous zones and other various applications that to at a safer distance.
